Intrinsic Technology, one of the leading players in the world of Unified Communications and Contact Centre solutions, recently commissioned Connect to design and deliver two content managed websites – an internet facility (with password restricted client area) and a corporate intranet. The content management system of choice for Intrinsic Technology was our own Liberato CMS. The website is now live and the Liberato content management system allows Intrinsic Technology to quickly and easily add and maintain pages, share content across multiple pages and cross-link information across the website. The CMS also allows Intrinsic to collate newsletter registrations and retrieve reports on poll results, page hits, popular searches etc. A key feature of the site is the client area, through which clients can access their own branded area of the website to access restricted information specific to them. Using Liberato CMS, Intrinsic can set permissions based on a client by client basis and publish specific information to each individual client’s area, such as details of their customer service team, tender information, cost proposals etc. Sara Rawcliffe, Marketing Manager at Intrinsic Technology commented ‘We are delighted with the new website, which Connect delivered to a challenging deadline, with only four weeks from start to finish of the project. The Connect team has at all times displayed a professional, proactive approach and was very deadline driven – even exceeding the ‘go live’ date by a few days. “All in all, they’ve done a first-rate job. The site has surpassed our expectations both from a design and usability point of view. From the outset Connect was focused on not just meeting our brief but shaping the website to ensure our objectives now and in the mid to long term future were achieved. The website further demonstrates our commitment to customer service and support which are the cornerstones of our customer-centric ethos". Andrew Wallace, Connect’s Project Manager, added ‘Prior to the project commencing, we were happy to assist Intrinsic Technology in securing 40% funding via the GME programme for the website build. We are now well on the way to completing the implementation of the intranet which will be in place in November’.
